MitoQ: the daily supplement for people on the go

If your days tend to feel like a bit of a blur, rushing from one commitment to the next, there’s a supplement that could help. MitoQ is a scientifically formulated antioxidant that targets cellular stress. As we age, or if our lifestyles aren’t the healthiest, the trillions of cells within our bodies can begin to experience free radical damage. Reduced energy, impaired workout recovery and susceptibility to stress are just some of the minor inconveniences you might experience when this happens – not great when you’re trying to get the most out of every day! MitoQ works to mitigate this stress – helping you to function at your best.

How does MitoQ work?

MitoQ is a world-first antioxidant because it can enter the difficult-to-penetrate mitochondria (the energy producing powerhouses within your cells). Once inside the mitochondria, MitoQ helps your cells to get back to doing what they do best – creating every thought and action that your body makes! It’s a supplement that exists to help people from all walks of life to get the most out of their body at a cellular level. At MitoQ, we believe that if you look after your wellbeing on a foundational level, it becomes much easier to give more to every area of your life.

Who can take MitoQ?

If you’re an adult who wants to support your overall wellbeing and vitality, then you can take MitoQ! 10mg per day is the recommended dose, however, long-term studies have safely been carried out within doses of 10mg – 80mg per day. MitoQ is generally not recommended for children or women who are pregnant/breastfeeding.

When and how do I take MitoQ?

Studies have shown that MitoQ is best absorbed on an empty stomach. Therefore, we recommend taking 10mgs with water, first thing in the morning and 30 minutes before food. However, some people like to split their MitoQ dosage by taking 5mgs in the morning and the other 5mgs as an afternoon pick me up. This is fine too, provided it isn’t taken alongside food.

How quickly does MitoQ work?

Some people notice a subtle difference within a few days of taking MitoQ, while others begin to notice a lift in energy and mental focus around three months into their MitoQ supplementation. It’s different for everyone. What we all have in common is that the cells within our bodies are always going through a turnover process. Your taste bud cells, for example, regenerate around every one or two weeks, while your liver’s hepatocyte cells regenerate approximately every five months. To help you track MitoQ’s effects on your mind and body, we’ve created a FREE downloadable wellness tracker so that you can make sure it’s working for you.

What MitoQ supplements can I choose from?

We generally recommend starting with MitoQ 5mg. Because it’s our core product with nothing else added, it will provide you with a clear indication of whether or not MitoQ is making a positive difference to your health and vitality. From there, if you are seeking any additional support with your wellbeing, you might want to give one of our other products a try. You can choose from MitoQ Heart, MitoQ Eye, MitoQ +Curcumin, MitoQ Liver, MitoQ Joint, MitoQ Blood Sugar, MitoQ Brain or our MitoQ Skin Support range.
